Niger State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate in the just concluded elections, Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi has said that he has no plan to take his counterpart and the winner from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Mohammed Umar Bago to Court over the outcome of the election.

Kantigi gave the assurance when the Governor-elect, Hon. Umar Bago and his team visited him in his residence in Minna, he described Bago as his younger brother adding that the election was a Zone A (Niger South) affair stressing that what Niger State needed now is the development of the State.

He emphasized that nobody should cause crisis and those intending such undemocratic tendency should restrain from such acts by allowing peace to reign, urging Bago to shun hypocrites to ensure the growth development of the state just as Kantigi has vowed to support and continued to pray for the success of the. incoming next administration in the state.

In his remarks, the Niger State Governor-elect, Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago said the singular honour by Kantigi who called and congratulated him when the collation of results was still ongoing has changed history in Niger state politics describing it as a new dawn.

Bago explained that Kantigi has opened his doors for him to tap from his wealth of experience and he will continue to consult and liaise with him, reassuring to set up a government of unity that will involve everyone in governance.
