The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)
has berated deductions from the bank accounts of Nigerians allegedly ordered by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

In a press release signed by Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, and made available to journalists on Monday.

The release read bellow;

“The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has provided a third force platform that is needed to rescue Nigeria from the numerous monumental problems bedeviling the country as the result of bad leadership the country has been subjected to over the years.

“NNPP finds it so absurd to hear of painful deductions from the bank accounts of Nigerians allegedly on the order of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which shows the insensitivity of this government.

“The government that couldn’t provide palliative for the citizens despite Covid-19 lockdown that frustrated commercial activities now embark on exploiting the citizens through bank deductions… This is so bad!

“Our party notes that this is another clear danger signal that the All Progressive Congress (APC) led government is headed by greedy politicians who are also so confused and care less for the welfare of the citizens.

“The NNPP hereby asserts that a sensitive government that has the interest of the masses at heart would have come up with policies that will stimulate the economy, encourage ease of doing business and reduce extraction of money from the people under whatsoever guise and work towards how to cushion the negative effects of the lockdown on the innocent citizens who were not responsible for importing Covid-19 into Nigeria.

“Tragically the People Democratic Party (PDP) that would have been an alternative has become another platform accommodating same politicians who are swapping from APC to PDP. So we are witnessing the situation where the same greedy politicians that are ruining the economy and destroying the entire system sneak back to PDP when they realise that they might not be able to hold on to power while still in APC.

“The political system between APC and PDP is becoming mere vicious circle of vicissitude. EdoDecides2020 and the last two Kogi West Senatorial election clearly portray this amongst others.

“In the light of the above, the only solution to the myriad of problems bedeviling the country is for the those who truly desire the liberation of Nigeria to come to terms with the fact that God is raising NNPP as the platform to be used to rescue Nigeria.

“Hence, we urge you to join forces with the Third Force Platform provided by our great party, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), so that we can all take our fate in our hands and rescue our beloved nation, like our forefathers fought for the independence of Nigeria from the clutches of the Colonial Masters.

“Then new people who are vibrant youths, with positive experience in different field of endeavours and who hold their dignity in high esteem and are passionate, ready to selflessly serve the country can take over the mantle of leadership so as to rebuild Nigeria to take her place again among the Comity of Nations.
