A former lawmaker representing Kaduna central, Senator Shehu Sani, has said no Nigerian is safe from kidnappers.
The former lawmaker stated this while reacting to the report of the abduction of the Commissioner of Information and Strategy in Niger State on Monday morning.
Idris Mohammed has whisked away after unknown gunmen invaded his residence. It is the second high-profile kidnap in the state.
Reacting to the incident via a Facebook post, the former lawmaker condemned the incident, describing it as tragic.
Shehu Sani wrote, “The abduction of the Niger State commissioner of Information is tragic.
“This further attest to the fact that no one is safe. My prayers to him and other students of the Tegina Islamic school still in the hands of their abductors.
“The federal and state governments must wake up and address this consuming danger”.
