The Olubosin of Ifetedo Kingdom and the Paramount Ruler of Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Akinola Akinrera Latiiri 1, has expressed sadness over the death of the highly revered Chief Imam of Ifetedo community, Alhaji Saliu Bakare Aleshinloye who passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, 8th November, 2022.
The Olubosin who described the development as a great loss to the entire Muslim Community , Ifetedo Town and Osun State in general made this known in a press statement made available to newsmen by his Media Aides on Wednesday.
Oba Akinrera, said the late cleric would be sorely missed and remembered as a resourceful Islamic Scholar and a Community leader of note. As a Cleric, he provided the Muslim Community with purposeful leadership and also devoted his time to attend to the interests of his people across religious divide as a Community leader.
The Olubosin while commiserating with the family of the late cleric and the Muslim community, urged them to take solace in the fact that the late Chief Imam lived a fulfilled life.
“On behalf of my royal family and the good people of Ifetedo Kingdom, I pray for the repose of his soul and that Almighty God to give all of us, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss Amen’
