The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi,will on Tuesday host the Olubadan of Ibadanland, HIM Oba Lekan Balogun.
The courtesy visit was part of the move by the two monarchs to further cement the kinship between their ancestral lineages.
A statement by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads “The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, will host the Olubadan of Ibadanland, HIM Oba Lekan Balogun and his queen, in his Iwo palace on Tuesday, 4th October,2022”
“The historical visit will further cement the long existing kinship and unity between the two Royal Fathers and their communities”
” Kings, Princes, Baales, chiefs, stakeholders and citizens of Iwo and its environment are enjoined to make themselves available to host the Olubadan and his queen”
