The Special Adviser to the Governor on Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Durojaye Isaac has congratulated the Osun State Governor, senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on his one year anniversary as people’s Governor especially his giant strides in changing the art of governance in the state.
The Governor in the last one year has developed the state through his five-point agenda.
Durojaye in a statement he personally signed commended the Governor for his achievements who has within a short period, right the wrongs of the past All Progressives Congress administration in the state.
He said the Governor has touched all the areas of his five-point agenda which has improved tremendously economy of the state, adding that his achievements cut across agriculture, education, road construction and rehabilitation, infrastructure, workers’ welfare, provision of potable water, health, civil service reform, empowerment, among others.
Durojaye noted that the Governor’s achievements are unprecedented in the history of Osun State.

He praised GovernorAdeleke for establishing full-fledged Ministry of Cooperatives and Empowerment affairs in order to use it to drive his empowerment project for the people of the State. This is a feat worthy to be emulated for successive administration to follow to aid the growth and development of Cooperative and empower their people.
He noted that as a result of the giant strides of the Governor in the Cooperative sector, that was why the Governor was recently given award as the Most Outstanding Governor of the Year and National Patron of the Nigerian National Cooperative by the Cooperative Rating and Award Society of Nigeria (CRASoN) in Lagos last weekend.
The Special Adviser stressed that Governor’s continued commitment to policy reforms, increased funding and support for cooperative societies have increased the socio-economic status of the state.
He added that Adeleke’s visionary leadership has continued to make cooperative societies strive in the state by creating enabling environment for them to operate. “This has boosted the economy of the state”.
Durojaye assured that several empowerment programmes are underway for the people of Osun State to reduce economic hardship faced by the people to cushion the effects of fue subsidy removal by the federal government.
He therefore urged the people of the state to continuing supporting the present administration with a view to enjoy more dividends of democracy through friendly policies and programmes.
