The Umbrella body of the Indigene of Otan Ile, in Obokun local government of Osun state , Otan Ile Progressive Union, OPU will on Saturday, 30th March, 2024 organised a day Economic and Political Summit to boost economic and political consciousness of the Indigenes of the ancient town.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by the union President, Hon. Bello Saliu Bamidele and made available with newsmen in Osogbo.
According to the release, the theme of the summit is “Toward Economic Empowerment and Political Emancipation of our People”
Hon. Bello noted that, the event will provide opportunity for the people to interact with each other and pave way for political stability and economic viability of the town.
Venue of the program according to the release is the town hall of the town and time is 10 am in the morning.
The release urged all Indigenes of the town both home and abroad to be present as a matter of importance, saying the program will availed all and sundry to contribute to the intellectual debate that will enhance development to the town.
