As Muslims all over the world end the 30 days Ramadan today, the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, has charged Islamic devotees, especially in the Polytechnic Community, to continue with their fervent devotions and prayers for the Institution and Osun State as a whole.
The Rector prayed that all their supplications would be accepted by Allah to enhance them improved and better life.
He urged Muslims to continue to live holy lives, by not going back to the various iniquities and sins they have abandoned to improve on their spiritual lives.
He finally charged them to continue to pray for the Executive Governor of the state, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for more wisdom and guidance to forge ahead in his people oriented and welfarist programmes in the State.
He noted particularly the Governor’s impacts in the educational sector which, according to him, has improved the educational standards at all levels in the State.
He urged the Muslims not to relent in their prayers for the Governor as he strives to paddle the canoe of the state to a safe harbour.
Comrade Alabi in a Statement he personally signed said “Oh Allah! Bestow on us all the Blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Have mercy and favour on us, accept our ibadah, supplications, shortcomings and transgressions. May you also count us amongst your righteous believers that would see and observe next Ramadan in perfect health.’
