The Acting Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Dr. T. A. Odetayo, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the Institution has rejoiced with all Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Maulud Celebration which commemorates the birth of Holy Prophet Mohammed.
He enjoined all our Muslim brothers and sisters to emulate the character of Holy Prophet and rededicate themselves to their duties and holy living.
Dr. Odetayo said Prophet Mohamed was a committed, delligent, loyal, loving and faithful creature who used His life for the service of God and humanity. These attributes, the Acting Rector noted were sterling qualities individuals in the Polytechnic Community should embrace in our their lives.
According to him “I charge you to embrace the life of holiness, dedication, love, loyalty, commitment and absolute dedication to the service of God and humanity in your discharge of duties on the polytechnic and your private lives.”
Dr. Odetayo however prayed that the blessings inherent in the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed would be bestowed on members of the polytechnic community.
