A human rights activist and the convener of a civil society organisation, Dialogue 360, Comrade Waheed Saka has charged youths in Osun State to participate actively in the coming July 16 governorship election for the better future of the state.
Saka, who gave the charge while fielding questions from journalists in Osogbo, on Thursday, said the participation of the people in the forthcoming Gubernatorial election will determine the type of leader that will govern the state for next four years.
He called on Osun residents on the need to enlighten other eligible voters to go out massively on the Election day to exercise their Civic right .
According to him, “Youths must have total involvement at all levels of election process. We may not have the money to vie for the office of the president, but we must show enough leadership, enough charisma and enough character to be involved at the presidency.
“If we don’t get involved in election process we will continue to lament and lamentation can’t solve the problem it can only compounded it,” he added
