Ahead of Osun State governorship election, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ife zone received a boost as leaders of the All Progressives Congress pledged their unalloyed support for the candidacy of Sen. Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.

The crack in the All Progressives Congress deepens as some notables leaders from Ile-Ife paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman, Ademola Adeleke Campaign Council, Prof Wale Oladipo.

The entourage was led by Hon Kayode Ogundele as they vow to work towards ensuring the victory of Sen. Ademola Adeleke as the next Governor of Osun State, next month. They promised to declare their membership for PDP in coming days.

Speaking, Hon Ogundele said their decision to join “Imole Team” borne out of their love towards making Osun great, saying “The PDP is the only party that can give people of Osun the needed change we deserve.”

“We are very comfortable with the leadership style of Prof Wale Oladipo, he is a leader of many parts. We are going to put everything in our custody to make sure PDP win the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun.”

In his remark, Prof Oladipo thanked the leaders for their steadfastness and courage to declare for PDP. He stressed, “By the grace of God, PDP is going to win the forthcoming election in Osun state.”

“I can assure you all that none of you will regret your action. We are going to set-up the next government in the state.”

“We cannot continue like this. Collectively, we must be ready to send these scavengers out of our dear state. APC has ruined this country, we must tell them that their time is over in our state.” he said
