A chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Osun and Oluomo of Modakekeland, Alhaji Abdulfatai Kolawole has urged urge citizens and residents of Osun to keep faith with the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola who seeks re-election on the platform of All Progressives Congress in the coming month assuring that his reelection guarantees improved service delivery and qualitative leadership.

The education veteran make the appeal on Sunday at his residence in the Modakeke area of the state while playing host to over five hundred members of his support group, “Ilerioluwa Ajumose” working for the success of APC and her candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, across all the eighty-seven polling units of the ancient town.

He lauded the members of the group for their steadfastness, solidarity, and perseverance despite intimidation and a deliberate campaign of calumny against his personality and members of the caucus by self-styled politicians who strive only on falsehood.

Alhaji Kolawole urged members of the caucus to forget all that happened in the past noting there is a need to work in unison to deliver the ancient town, Modakeke, just as always to the ruling All Progressives and her candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, in the July 16 gubernatorial election.

He recalled with nostalgia important governmental institutions that the ruling party has facilitated in the town among which were, the creation of a local government administrative office which has now metamorphosed into a full-fled local council development area with ten political wards, the local government education authority board which he said has lifted the burden of public schools teachers in the community who travel distance before their administrative issues could be resolved among other infrastructure in the area of education and health, among others.

He assured the audience and community leaders that he and others would continue to engage government more on other areas of need and intervention which would hasten the community development.

The Asiwaju Adini of Modakekeland urged the party faithful, critical community stakeholders, artisans, and market women to troop out en mass to welcome Governor Gboyega Oyetola as his campaign trains visit Modakeke on Monday.
