A governorship candidate of Accord,
Akin Ogunbiyi has hinted that he will unveil fund raising committee who will be saddled with responsibility of sourcing for financial support from well meaning people of the state.

Ogunbiyi who said emphatically that he does not have financial capacity to prosecute the election said there was the need for good people of Osun to come to his aid in order to make his good vision realizable

Ogunbiyi made this known on Wednesday while featuring at the monthly edition of “The Frontliners’, organized by the Association of veteran journalists, held at NUJ, Osun State Council,

The accord flag bearer solicited for fund from Osun citizens as his party prepare to inaugurate the July 16 governorship election campaign.

According to him, “I’m coming to every one of you. And I’m using this opportunity to appeal to every citizens and Nigeria at large to come to my aid . I don’t have the resources to prosecute the election and I have good intentions for the people of the state.

“Now we are going to do the campaign declaration, I will send the appeal fund to you. Your (N1) one Naira can go a long way. Your (N10) ten Naira to my donation to my campaign can go along way.

“This is the only way that you can help turn things around in the State. What resources do you think I have that will can put beside Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

“Give us money. Support us we’re not asking you to donate what that can affect you.” he said

He however, said he has never taking money from anyone for all of his political activities since 2017 he became active politician in the state.
