The deputy governor candidate of People Redemption Party (PRP), Comrade Olowu Emmanuel has said that their administration will identify the causes of criminal activities that rampant in the state and provide the lasting solution immediately the party assume power in Osun State.
He charged the electorate to vote for the PRP in the forthcoming July 16th, governorship election for a violence-free society.
Olowu said that their government will engage thousands of the youths with the lawful work for the advancement of the state.
He however, expressed dissatisfaction with the high cost of case filings in the state, adding that cost as hinder a lot of person from pursuing their cases to a logical end
“Which are one of the reasons for the congestion of our correctional center and how inmates and those on the awaiting trials list are left to their fate due to a lack of economic powers to pursue their matters in a competent court of law due to filing fees for Cases that are on the high side, which is invariably subjecting our people to neglect and abandonment in correctional centers
“We shall not abandon those in the correctional and we shall not leave the Federal Government with the task, the rehabilitation of the life of all in the centers will be paramount to us
“We have therefore resolved that on our sworn into office we shall reduce all costs of filing fees in all our Courts ranging from Osun Rent Tribunal, Customary, Magistrate, and High Courts. This will mark our first step towards dis-congestion of our correctional centers and grant our citizens the ample opportunity to seek redress of any forms of violation with little cost implication as the court remain the last hope of the common man.” he said
