The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun, chairman Hon Sunday Bisi has declared that there is ‘no more war’ in the party, saying it is now united.
He said PDP has successfully reconciled aggrieved members and is now ready to dislodge Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the governorship seat.
The chairman spoke yesterday in an interview with this medium
Bisi said: “As you can see, the PDP is very peaceful and we have achieved a genuine reconciliation. All of us in PDP are now together and we are good to go.
“That tells you that we are one, solid and ready for the incoming election and I can assure you that we are going to defeat APC and the incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola with a wide margin by the grace of God.
“We came into reconciliation because we don’t want to continue with this bad governance and for that reason, we just have to reconcile ourselves.
“Politics is about sacrifice. We have don’t the needful. It is not about satisfying anybody or giving money to someone but the genuine interest of the party.
This medum noted that part of the reconciliation move by the Osun PDP was the nomination of Hon Soji Adagunodo as the South-West National Vice Chairman of the PDP.
Adagunodo’s nomination was on Wednesday ratified by the Southwest Zonal Executives of the party.
