Ahead of 2022 governorship election in Osun, a human rights activist and legal practitioner , Barrister Johnson Amusan has charged electorate to do away from vote buying in the forthcoming election in the state.
He said voters should be careful of electing insincere political office holders into leadership position during the election period.
Amusan urged the citizens to vote candidates that have the capability to lead the state to a greater heights.
The legal practitioner gave the advice to the masses in Osogbo, Osun State capital, he said that the voters should not be led by their nose before, during and after election.
According to the rights activist, “The masses should cast their vote for the people who have the capability not because their been given money or bread to vote for them.
“Anybody who comes to them and give them money or whatever to vote for him or her, they should know that that person is not genuine, if is a genuine the person he will not offer them anything to vote for him or her.
He ,however, called on the Nigerian government to make the Chapter 11 of the Nigeria Constitution justifiable to prevent political from promise without fulfill when they get to the political office.
He said that inequality can be resolved when implement the Chapter 11 Nigeria Constitution.
Human rights activist further said that Nigeria can not get it right if the people who running for political office are not genuinely have the interest of the citizens at heart .
