A front-line politician in Osun State, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo, has applauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing competent personalities as members of his cabinet.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain gave the commendation in a statement released by his media team in Osogbo on Monday.
Hon. Oyewo described the president’s appointment of the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as his Chief of Staff and a former Governor of Benue State, George Akume, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation as a laudable step.
“Mr President’s appointment of the duo is undoubtedly an intelligent move to get competent, honest, and experienced public servants to work with him.
“It will definitely help the new administration to accomplish its vision for Nigerians.
“I, therefore, wish to applaud Mr. President for appointing these individuals with unquestionable pedigree and remarkable achievements.”
Olubukola Oyewo, who is a former member of the House of Representatives, congratulated Gbajabiamila and Akume on their well-deserved appointments.
He also congratulated Nuhu Ribadu, Dele Alake, Wale Edun and other individuals who were recently named as special advisers to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The former Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Water Resources finally urged all citizens to be patient with the new political dispensation as it strives to meet the desires and expectations of Nigerians.
