The Committee for the Defense of Human Rights (CDHR), Osun State chapter has extended its condolences to its former Chairman, Comrade Wahab Akinrinade, following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Sefinat Akinrinade at the age of 91.
Mrs. Sefinat Akinrinade died on Thursday 20th June 2024, in her residence, Ede, Osun State after a brief illness.

The CDHR described Mrs. Akinrinade’s death as a great loss, not only to the family but also to the community.
The organization celebrated the life of Mrs. Akinrinade, noting her positive impact on those who knew her.
The CDHR’s condolences read, “We stand in solidarity with our former Chairman, Akinrinade, and his family in this trying moment. May the soul of Mrs. Sefinat Akinrinade rest in peace, and may her legacy continue to inspire us all.”
The family of the late Mrs. Sefinat Akinrinade to hold a 8-day Fidau prayer in her honour, which will take place in Ede, Osun State.
