Osun State Radio and Television Cooperation Society has honored the Deputy Chief Whip Of Osun State House Of Assembly, Hon. Abidemi Gbenga Ogunkanmi with award of Excellence in philanthropic service to Osun indigenes.
The lawmaker representing Ayedire Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Gbenga Ogunkanmi received the awarded during the 4th Public Lecture of Osun State Radio/Television Cooperation (OSBC)Titled Post COVID-19 Strategy:Diversification Of Economic Interest.
In her welcome address, the Director General of OSBC, Mrs Adejumoke Akinjoola, commended Hon. Ogunkami for his philanthropical gesture to Osun indigenes, also urged other spirited Individuals in the society to emulate the lawmaker kind gesture.
Speaking with journalists, Hon. Ogunkami thanked God Almighty for giving him the ability to serve his people and reinstated his commitment not to relent in his bid to promote development in his constituency through qualitative laws that would make life more comfortable for his constituents.
He expressed appreciation to the OSBC cooperative society for counting him among the awardees , saying the award would encourage him to do better for his society .
