The deputy Governor of Osun State Mr Benedict Alabi has urged citizens abroad to invest in their communities so as to reduce poverty and unemployment in the society.

Osun deputy gov; Baba Wande, Aladekomo, obas, others inaugurate Prinaj hotel in Ere-Ijesa

Alabi explained that big investments from Nigerians who are pursuing legitimate business abroad will bring economic transformation to the society and country.

The deputy governor stated this on Friday at the commissioning of Prinaj Hotel, Resorts and Suites built by Prof. Oyewole Ajifolokun in Ere-Ijesa in Osun State.

Mr Alabi who was represented by Mr Yinka Omiyare commended the chairman and CEO of Prinaj group of companies, Prof. Ajifolokun for investing in his community by building the hotel in Ijesha.

Also, the Asiwaju of Ijesaland Yinka Fasuyi hails the chairman of the hotel for bringing such a huge investment into Ijesa land.

He begged the Chairman to employ people from the community as workers and also pleaded with all the traditional rulers present at the commissioning to pick a date and pray for the workers of the hotels so that there won’t be challenges.

He also pleaded that those to be engaged as workers at the hotel should be those that have the fear of God, adding that people with the fear of God will always work for the progress of the hotel and not those that will destroy things .

He thereby commended the chairman for his contribution towards the development of Ijesaland and for bringing the beautiful investment.

“This is a huge challenge to daughters and sons of Ijesaland. Prof. Ajifolokun has challenge everyone with this edifice. The owner is a clever man .

“Workers are expected to come from Ere- Ijesa and they should have the fear of God. We are going to have a meeting with monarch in the land because I want all the Kabieyesis to pray for them.

“We will pray against principalities so that they will work for the progress of this hotel and ensure Prinaj becomes a success.” he said

Speaking also, The Chairman of Prinaj hotel and suites, Prof. Ajilefolokun, said the hotel has many rooms, with swimming poll for leisure , table tennis and gym for people that loves sport and also elevator and stroller .

The philanthropist said he loves giving back to the society .

He noted that about 40 workers will be employed

“Many people do ask the question, why I am doing what I do? But my simple and only answer has been “it is about giving back to the community and be part of community development vanguard.

“From the beginning of recorded history, development of a community has always been by group efforts through mutual understanding and contribution to the just course.

“I convinced myself that one of the ways I could be useful to my society and be part of the progressively minded people is to establish a project that will positively impact the socio-economic upliftment of my people.

“I acknowledge and join my hands with Asiwaju Fasuyi and Otunba (Sir) Aladekomo in this regard. These are two gentlemen who I admired so much and who have contributed in no small way to the development of ljesaland.

“At full capacity, PRINAJ Hotel will be employing not less than 40 people. Again, it will bring more visitors to this town and assist in no small measure in the development of the town.” he said

He encouraged people, both in the private sector and in government to emulate the habit and spirit of investment to create employment for others.
