The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has announced that the training of Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) will take place today, Friday, February 7, and tomorrow, Saturday, February 8, 2025, as previously scheduled.

In a statement signed by Information Officer of the commission, Sadiat Isiaka, said that shortlisted candidates for POs and PCs should attend training at the local government area of choice, residence, origin, or easy accessibility; as may be suitable or applicable to the affected candidates.

Osun State Independent Electoral Commision wishes to inform the shortlisted adhoc staff that the training of Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) shall hold on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th February, 2025 as earlier announced and scheduled.

The venue remains Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Stadium Roundabout area, Osogbo. Note that training of all shortlisted SPO candidates holds in Osogbo ONLY.

In addition, training of Presiding Officers (POs) and Poll Clerks (PCs) shall hold on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February, 2025 in various local government areas at the designated government schools.

Successful candidates shall thereafter be posted to designated local government of assignment after the training, which is as may be determined by the Commission.
