The Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) has expressed its appreciation to Representative Bamidele Salam for appointing nine of its members as Special Assistants and a Special Liaison Officer on disability matters in the Ede Federal Constituency of Osun State.
This gratitude was conveyed in a letter titled “Appreciation for the Appointment of Nine PWDs as Special Assistants and a Special Liaison Officer on Disability Matters in Ede Federal Constituency,” signed by the Association’s Zonal Coordinator, Adeyemi Mutairu Alapa.
The letter states: “On behalf of the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD), Ede Zone, I am writing to express my profound gratitude for the appointment of nine of our members as Special Assistants and a Special Liaison Officer across Ede Federal Constituency in Osun State.
“History will remember Rep. Bamidele Salam as a true ambassador for the disability community in Osun State. We promise to keep the momentum going, as the chairpersons of the four local government area councils are committed to your cause and will make renewed efforts to support your goals and aspirations.
“I am honored and deeply appreciative of your generosity and unwavering support for the members of JONAPWD in the Egbedore Local Government Area Chapter, particularly in our quest for a dedicated auditorium, the ‘JONAPWD Skills Acquisition Center, Awo.’ Despite your many commitments, Ede Zone remains steadfast in its support of your initiatives.

This appreciation highlights a significant step by Rep. Bamidele Salam in enhancing representation and support for individuals with disabilities within the constituency.
