Osun Federal Lawmaker Hails Adeleke For Approving Recruitment of Over 5000 Teachers

The Lawmaker representing the good people of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam has applauded the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke for his decisive leadership in approving the recruitment of Five Thousand teachers and Two Hundred and Fifty education officers to fill vacancies in the state teaching service.

Salam, who’s also the House of Representative Public Account Committee Chairman, made the commendation after the approval of the recruitment by the Osun State Executive Council on Wednesday, 7th February 2024.

According to him, “This significant initiative, sanctioned by the Osun State Executive Council, marks a pivotal moment in the state’s commitment to enhancing its education system and nurturing the talents of its youth.

“The decision to recruit 5,000 teachers and 250 education officers emphasizes Governor Adeleke’s steadfast dedication to providing accessible, equitable, and high-quality education for all residents of Osun State.

“By filling critical vacancies within the state teaching service, Governor Adeleke demonstrates his unwavering commitment to cultivating a conducive learning environment that empowers students to excel academically. This strategic move not only addresses the pressing need for qualified educators but also lays the foundation for socio-economic development and prosperity across the state.

“Governor Adeleke’s visionary leadership and proactive approach to addressing the challenges facing the education sector, especially the recruitment of educators is a testament to the government’s commitment to fostering a knowledge-based economy, promoting inclusive growth, and ensuring that every child in Osun State has the opportunity to fulfill their potential”.

Rep. Salam also pledged his full support to Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Osun State Government in their efforts to build a brighter future for generations to come.
