The Lawmaker, representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Right Honourable Busayo Oluwole Oke has congratulated Nigerians, especially the constituents of Ijesa North Federal Constituency on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.

Hon. Oke in a statement he personally signed charged christians to imbibe the spirit of love and humility embedded in the birth of Christ.

Hon Oke said Christmas is a celebration of joy, love and hope which emanated from the divine conception and birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. According to him; ” this year’s Christmas celebration is radiated with peace and joy. I have no doubt that this year Christmas will look different for all of us. A departure from 2020 when the world was ravaged with global pandemic and 2021 when we battled with the ruins of the pandemic.

“As we spend time with those we love in persons and spirit, let us celebrate the blessings we cherish, embrace the spirits of giving and look out for one another.

“In this holy season, let us thank God for His infinite LOVE and JOY in our heart and let us pray that the LIGHT of His GLORY will forever shine on this magnificent Constituency, Ijesa North.

“We should not forget to pray for peace in Nigeria, especially in the coming year, when will be transiting to another democratic dispensation in the country. As we go to our respective worship centers, let’s commit Nigeria and our election to Christ to grant us victory at all levels to enable us witness a better Nigeria so that we can witness improvement in our socio-economic activities in the country.
“On behalf of the entire good People of Ijesa North, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all those celebrating Christmas around the world, particularly our Christian Brothers and Sisters in Oriade and Obokun.

“I wish you all a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year in Advance.”
