Thank God for mercy. The naming ceremony of Mr. David Adeleke (a.k.a) Davido’s twins children in faraway United States of America which, for so many days crippled government activities in Osun state, has come and gone without any untoward incident. All the political functionaries which included almost all the commissioners and special advisers went to grace the special occasion. Thank God they are on their ways back to base at this time. Ki Olorun ba wa da awon omo na si. Amin.

Although, according to sources, even when the commissioners return to the state their coming back home may not have any significant effect after all. The semblance of government hitherto being experienced before they all went on their America jamborees may not resume until when the real managers of Osun also come back.

Anyways, if at this one year of Senator Ademola Adeleke as governor you still don’t know the trio managers of Osun it then mean you will have to go and google search for answer. Sorry, I can’t help you.

Prior their wasteful tour to America Osunians have already concluded that most of the commissioners, apart their largeness in population, are not even gainfully employed. Hence, the non-awareness of the citizens on their absence from the state for almost two weeks they went on AWOL. Succinctly put, they seemed not to exist in the minds of the citizens.

However, as per the governor and when he will be be back to the state; it is only his minders that can say. They that arranged his vamoose should be the ones to ask this question.

The governor, recall, has left the state for two weeks ahead of his spokesman Mallam Rasheed Olawale announcement to say the governor was travelling to the US and Asian countries on a “working vacation”. However, in spite of all our hues and cries of foul play Olawale, up till now has never found any explanation for why he had to feed the citizens with lies about his boss’s movement out of the state.

Meanwhile, of paramount concern to the people at this time is for the governor to come back home early in order that he could provide answers to those important agitating the minds of his subjects.

Osun people want to know, among others, where their Nine billion Naira is kept. They want to know on which part of the current Osun budget which we are operating took care of the recently purchased brand new Toyota Highlander jeeps he shared to the state lawmakers with the cost of a unit above a hundred million Naira.

The good people of the state also want to know on why the commissioners will embark on mass international travel especially at this time that the state executive governor recently announced the suspension of all such international travels by government officials.

Another important one is on who actually footed the bills of the commissioners travel and the cost.
Though the people don’t want no lies anyways because they are already in possession of facts concerning this case.

The very big one the people can no longer wait to seek the governor’s answer is on the roads construction at Ede/Akoda.

Recall on how government was exposed before on its dubious ignore of due process in its course of awarding the contract for the road. We insisted then that due process of advertisement for such contracts before award it was missing.

However, noises of opposition were to later forced them into a makeup for it. They crookedly padded the advertisement.

But at this stage again yawa seemed to have gassed for government on the same Ede roads as the contractors working there have never received a dime from the government and for five months that they have commenced work. We won’t forget government listed the roads as part of those they have paid for. So if government claimed to us that it has paid and the contractors haven’t received a kobo so far since start of the road construction and for six months running….. Akoni Oodua ……where went the money meant for payment? Nibo no Owo lo…..? Osun people are asking.

Anyways, according to sources, they have promised again and as usual to pay tomorrow, Monday 4th December,2023….a promise which people say will again fail as the previous ones.
