Osun State Government, under the able leadership of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has taken a lasting step towards addressing the agitations of the people of Aduramigba Community in Egbedore Local Government.

This was contained in a release issued by the Hon. Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs Alh. Ganiyu Olaoluwa who doubles as the Chairman of the Committee set up by Mr. Governor to investigate the cause of the agitation of the Community.

The road was chosen as a rural road by Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project in 2014 to provide access to farmers to take their farm produce to the nearby market. However, development has sprang up at the corridor of the road making the road not fit for rural classification any longer thus making the standard of specification vary from the state intervention.

The fact-finding Committee met members of the Aduramigba Community, particularly the Youths at the Palace of the Olu of Aduramigba.

In his response to the complaints of the people, the Hon. Commissioner, who led the Committee to Aduramigba Community said the Government is ready to meet all their demands within a short period.

While appealing to the Community to exercise patience and give peace a chance, he informed them that the report of the corrections demanded on the road would be immediately submitted to Mr. Governor for action.

Alhaji Olaoluwa added that all other demands of the Community would be forwarded to Mr. Governor, who would
direct the relevant Agencies to look into them without delay.

While assuring that the Government of Senator Adeleke is a listening Government, he used the opportunity to urge Aduramigba Community and others to always take their grievances to the Government instead of resorting to protests, which could be hijacked negatively.

Speaking, the Olu of Aduramigba HRH. Oba Emmanuel Babatunde Abidogun commended the Government for having a listening ear for attending to their grievances speedily.

In separate speeches from the members of the Community they expressed appreciation to Government for the timely intervention while also praying that their demands for provision of basic social amenities be met in good time
