A 2019 Osun Central Senatorial District candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former Chairman of Osogbo Local Government,
Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa has rebuked joining the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC.
Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa on Monday while featuring on Oro Oselu of Rave FM, described APC as a political party that does not support the growth of its members.
He also accused APC of being a party which enjoys inflicting hardship on the masses.
When asked if Governor Gboyega Oyetola extend working relationship to him as chieftain of PDP would he accept, he said never will he work again with the progressives.
Narrating his experience when he was a member of Alliance for Democracy, AD , he said he wanted to contest for state executive then and was asked to stepdown due to his tender age.
“They said because I am below fifty years of age” he said.
“After that I later became Osogbo Local Government Area Chairman in People Democratic Party.”
He, however, urged Osun electorate to reject Governor Gboyega Oyetola including APC, and vote massively for Senator Ademola Adeleke of the PDP come July 16 governorship election.
It was gathered that Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa who was also ex-State Chairman of Osun PDP is again eyeing the ticket for 2023 Osun Central Senatorial District.
