The Osun State Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led by Mr Sunday Bisi, has inaugurated the Chairmen of local government chapter of the PDP in Ife federal constituency.
The state chairman said the inauguration became necessary after successful congress of the party which produced the state and local executives of the party, saying the party has shown the world the democratic way of doing things.
He noted that the party has finally taken over power in the state, stressing that it is time for Osun residents to enjoy dividends of democracy as the party is known for. “All members of the party will enjoy the government of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke in the state”.
Speaking, the chairman of the party in Ife Central Local Government Area, Mr Falabi Nurudeen enjoined members of the party to be loyal to the party and continue to work for the development of the party.
He said, all hands must be on deck in the interest of the party and development of Osun State, noting that the party will not disappoint them. “PDP is a party of people which has interest of the downtrodden masses as its first cardinal agenda”.
Falabi stressed that PDP is known as a welfarist party which is principally centered on mass interest of people. He noted that PDP has been doing wonderfully well in terms of delivering dividends of democracy to mass of Osun people.
He called on party members to loyal and committed to the party and Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, promising that his leadership will not disappoint members of the party in Ife Central.
“My administration will run open door policy, where all members of the party will have equal opportunity in the party irrespective of influence, religion and colour. All party members and public would enjoy the present government in the state,”Falabi declared.
The Ife central party chairman enjoined members of the party and people of Ife federal constituency to continue to support policies and programmes at all time, stressing that the zone stands to benefit immensely from the present PDP government in the state.
