National Publicity Secretary aspirant of Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association, (OSPAA) Adekunle Sikiru popularly known as ABACUS has described the Polytechnic as the best institution in south west Nigeria to produce larger industrious and most resourceful graduates across the country.
This is contained in his congratulatory messages made available to journalists in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on the 30th anniversary of the citadel of learning
Adekunle Sikiru who congratulated the management, staff, alumni members and current students of the institution on the 30th anniversary of the institution stressed that, Osun State polytechnic iree has created a landmark for technological advancement interns of positive innovation by students in the recent times
According to him, the institution has produced several multi-talented graduates who are making ways in different fields of study such as courageous journalists, successful bankers, engineers of high repute, excellent medical experts, innovative computer and ICT gurus, and civil nation builders.
On the state Alumni, Adekunle Sikiru saluted the proactiveness of the past administrations of Ospoly Iree Alumni for the current situation of the association , adding that Alumni association is all about giving back to the society that made one.
Appreciating the doggedness of the departmental Alumni associations such as Mass Communication Alumni (MAOS), Accountancy Alumni, Banking Alumni, Science Alumni, Engineering Alumni, Business Administration Alumni and several Alumni associations in Ospoly Iree to bringing several developmental programmes and scholarships to the institution and the current students.
Describing his candidature as the National Publicity Secretary of Ospoly Iree Alumni association election come December 10, this year as God’s project and God’s intervention to resuscitate alumni association through professionalism.
He therefore called on Alumni members to support progressive minded people who have intellectual and moral capacities to pilot Ospoly Iree Alumni association to enviable height and to meet up with its pears in the world of higher institution’s Alumni in Nigeria.
