The management of Osun State Polytechnic Iree has constituted 7-man panel to investigate the cause of the protest among the Daily Part-Time (DPT) Nationa Diploma 2 Students.
Thesource report that the National Diploma ND2 students protested for denied some students who are yet to pay school fees to write the first semester examination.
The authority announced name of the panel in a memo released on Thursday signed by registrar of the school.
According to the memo “I am writing to inform you of your appointment as chairman and members of the investigation panel on the Student crisis during first semester 2020/2021 Daily Part-Time Examination
The membership of the panel includes: Dr. Omotosho M.O as the Chairman, Mr Adepoju Oloyede as the Secretary, Alhaji Raimi A.M, Mr Olayide Lawal, Dr. (Mrs) Faronbi A.G, Mrs Omisakin F.T, Mr Akinrosoye I.A, Engr. Lawal Akeem O. As members of the panel.
The terms of the reference of the panel is to identify remote and immediate cause(s) of the crisis, interrogate student’s Union Government and Student’s Union Association leadership that may be involved in the crisis, interrogate members of staff of the Directorate of Daily Part-Time, Examination and identify the culprits and the extent of damages.
The memo indicated that the panel is given one week from the date of the memorandum to submit its report.
