The Muslim Community of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree on Wednesday celebrated its members who recently retired from the institution.
Members of Muslim Community who converged at the institution Central Mosque on 19th April, 2023, prayed to Almighty God to grant retired members of Muslim Community more fruitful life as they are bowing out of service in the institution.
The event was said to be reflection of God’s mercy in the life of entire members of Muslim Community, particularly, retired members.
The rector of Osun Poly ,who doubles as Chairman, Muslim Community, Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo represented by Alhaji Oseni, appreciated Almighty Allah in the lives of the retired officers for a successful service to the community and development of humanity.
Also, Immam of the Ospoly, Iree Central Mosque, Mallam AbdulAkeem Adeleke prayed for more successful lives for the retired officers and their families.
Adeleke wished them good health, favor and mercy of God in their future endeavors.
Speaking on behalf of other retired officers, Dr Adebisi appreciated the Osun Poly Muslim Community for organizing such wonderful and first of its kind send forth ceremony in the history of the institution’s Muslim Community.
According to him, ”We are honored and God will honor every members of this Muslim Community.”
Dr Adebisi, thereafter, prayed for success of Dr Odetayo led Management Team.
Retired but not tired officers are, Alhaji Ganiyu Abimbola Adebisi, PhD. who until his retirement, was Director of Research and Publication. Mallam, Yunus Akanmu Atayese, former School’s librarian, Alhaji Tajudeen Kola Bamigbade, former, Sub- Dean Student Affairs, Mallam, Tajudeen Solagbade Oladipo, former, Lecturer, Food Technology and Alhaji Olagoke Kilani, former, Senior Driver.
