The Speaker described the former Speaker as a true Pathfinder, a predecessor whose contributions to the State of Osun is worthy of emulation.

Owoeye said Salaam’s trajectory in service saw him taking up worthy causes as the the Speaker of Osun for no personal gains as long as they served humanity.

The Speaker also commended Rt. Hon. Salaam for providing effective leadership for the 5th and 6th Assembly in Osun through the passage of bills for the smooth running of the state with former Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

He held that the good feats achieved by the former governor will not have been possible without the cooperation of the Assemblies under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Salaam.

The Speaker stated “It is not by accident but dint of hard work that your life is packed with achievements, you are a true Pathfinder for me, a predecessor that is worthy of emulation.

“The political space of Osun has benefited immensely from your fountain of knowledge, wealth of experience, political astuteness and leadership acumen. I made bold to say that your loyalty to constituted authorities is next to nothing.

“On this occasion of your birthday, I join you, your political and immediate families across the country and in the diaspora in celebrating the abundant grace of God in your life on the attainment of age 55.

“On behalf of my family, my colleagues in the State of Osun House of Assembly, I pray that you celebrate more days in good health, abundance and many more prosperity”.
