The Owalare of Ilare, Headquarters of Obokun East Local Council Development Area, Oba Adejoro Otebolaku JP has commended the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for tarring of Ilare intra-township roads, just as he also appealed for re-construction of Otan-Ile, Ilare, Esa-Odo, Ijebu-Jesa road in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency.

Oba Otebolaku, according to a statement by the Spokesperson of the community, Dr. Tope Abiola, who is also the Odole-Owa of Ilare states in an appreciation letter to the Governor states that “tarring of the roads is a monumental achievement in the anal of history of the community, it has indeed lent credence to your people oriented agenda in the the governance of Osun State.

“The tarred -roads in the town are the major inter-township roads that link other streets in the town together. It goes from the old Methodist Church junction through the Saint Francis Primary school to Oke-Eyindi and Maternity Center. The construction is indeed an unprecedented achievement that would not be forgotten”, the letter read.

The monarch, according to Abiola also urged Governor Adeleke to construct the major road that connects Lbokun and Oriade Local Governments together ” we are also using this medium to remind you of the need to re-construct the Otan-Ile; Ilare; Esa-Odo; Ijebu-Jesa road which has cut off the four towns out of the state, It has drastically affected the socio-economic lives of the people.”

“Oba Otebolaku noted that “the Esa-Odo Water Dam Bridge is at the verge of collapse, stressing that a prompt attention of the State Government would prevent a looming hazard which could happen if prompt attention is not drawn to the bridge and construction of the road.

“Your Excellency, if care is not taken it could cause devastating and regrettable flood that could sweep Ilare and Esa-Odo away and as well affect, Ilahun, Ikinwa and Iponda through the Osun River that runs round the Local Government to Osogbo, it may wreck unimaginable havock in the communities.”

The Owalare on behalf of the Owalare -in-Council, Ilare Development Association and entire good people of Ilare prayed for continued success of the Governor in the State of the Living Spring.

“While praying for your continued success in office, Your Excellency sir, kindly accept our unfliching support for your government as you paddle the canoe of the State to a safe harbour”, the monarch prayed .
