The Speaker, State of Osun House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has described the first Lady of Osun, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola as God sent to the less privileged women and children in the state.
The Speaker in a statement to commemorate the birthday of Oyetola by his Media Aide, Kunle Alabi stated that the passion and zeal exhibited by the wife of the Governor at reducing poverty amongst women has left no one in doubt that her interventions are genuine and devoid of politics.
Owoeye stressed that Oyetola’s Ilerioluwa Development Initiative has positively impacted directly on lives of the less privileged, especially women and children, adding that her involvement has also discouraged open defecation in the nooks and crannies of the state.
He stated that Alhaja Oyetola’s commitment to the development of the state through her foundation has further shown that she’s a selfless woman who is committed to bringing succor to the less privileged.
The Speaker commended Madam Oyetola for being a strong pillar of support to governor Adegboyega Oyetola, saying without the support of the Matriarch, the governor may have not achieved that much as he has done in the state.
Owoeye said, “Alhaja Oyetola through her foundation, “Ilerioluwa Development Initiative” that has impacted positively on women, children and the less privileged has shown that the wife of the governor is God sent.
“On this occasion of your birthday, I join you and your immediate families across the country and in diaspora in celebrating the abundant grace of God in your life on the attachment of age 61.
