The Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji has told residents of the state that he understood his mission and he will ensured that he fulfilled it.
Oyebanji made this known during his maiden address to the people of the state, on Sunday after he took the oath of office.
Oyebanji who took over from Kayode Fameyi, the immediate past governor of the state said he will continue to build on the successes of his predecessor.

He pledged that he will be accessible to the people of Ekiti.
He also assured them that with their support his government will make the state working.
Speaking on security, Oyebanji said “insecurity remain a major concern of our people rural banditry remain an existential approach on our collective survivor, especially for us here in Ekiti. There is no doubt that the confidence of our people is still low in the security situation.
“But we need to acknowledge that a lot of work has been done and here now it a drastic reduction in the spite of kidnapping, banditry, that reached a frightening height at some point.
“We have the immediate past administration to should thank for the improvement in the General Security of dear state.
“We are confident that we build on these achievements and contain security within our borders, we will energized the existing security system and come up with new initiatives that can further strengthen their functionality.”
