Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun has congratulated the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland and Chief Executive Officer, Tuns Farms Nigeria Limited, Chief Khamis Olatunde Badmus, on the occasion of his 76th birthday.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, Oyetola described the celebrant as a rare gift of nature and one of the foremost illustrious and industrious sons of Osun who have contributed significantly to the socio-economic growth and development of the State.

The Governor extolled the former President of Poultry Association of Nigeria for being a paragon of excellence and source of inspiration in all aspects of human endeavours as manifested in the positive impacts he made through his entrepreneurial and philanthropic gestures to advance the cause of humanity.

Oyetola also appreciated Chief Badmus for his continued elderly roles particularly his swift response to the call of the State when the nation was faced with the coronavirus pandemic that ravaged the entire world.

According to the Governor, the state and Nigeria owe the seasoned agriculturist, business mogul and indeed a detribalised Nigerian words of gratitude for his selfless service to the growth and development of the nation’s agricultural sector.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Osun, I congratulate our very own Asiwaju Khamis Olatunde Badmus on the occasion of his 76th birthday.

“Your indelible imprints and track records spanning across sectors as a journalist, agriculturist and business tycoon, have been the source of inspiration for many, particularly the younger generation aspiring to be like you.

“Indeed, you have written your name in gold and in the sound of time, as a seasoned agriculturist whose business empire had turned around the socio-economic fortune of many, particularly the downtrodden, through your philanthropic and benevolence gestures.

“We pray Allah to continue to endow you with more knowledge, wisdom, sound health and long life as you continue to impact people’s lives and render selfless service to humanity.

“On behalf of my family, Government and the good people of Osun, I pray that you be continually preserved for greater service to our State, our nation and humanity in good health and prosperity. Happy birthday to you, sir,” Oyetola added.
