Oyetola Gets Applause Over Reconstruction Of Ejigbo Collapsed Bridge

A prominent politician and an elder of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ejigbo local government area of Osun State, Engr. Taiwo Ibraheem, has lauded Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his quick response to the reconstruction of Sagan collapsed bridge to enhance ease usage for commuters and motorists.

THESOURCE gathered in its report that the Sagan collapsed bridge which links Court area to Odebara, Agoji has been abandoned since ten months ago, which has posed hardships to the livelihood of residents of the area.

Commending Governor Oyetola for his proactiveness towards the reconstruction of the collapsed brodge, Eng. Taiwo said, “the award of the reconstruction of the bridge is laudable”

“Governor Oyetola deserved to be commended for prioritizing the welfare of the people of Ejigbo. We have heard about bridge in the town been abandoned for more than three years in the past, but in this case it is different” he said.

He, however , eulogized Rt. Hon. Mojeed Alabi, Rt Hon. Najeem Salam and Senator Mudashir Husain for their political contribution towards development of Ejigboland.

One of the resident in the area, who identified himself as Olusola told our correspondent who visited the area that response of Osun Government in reconstructing the collapsed bridge has increase their confidence on Governor Oyetola led administration saying he demonstrated a genuine democratic.

Olusola commended Governor Oyetola for his executive directive to fix the Sagan collapsed bridge.

He also urged the government to keep monitoring the project in order to expedite the completion of the bridge.

A aged landlord in the area also expressed his delight for the ongoing reconstruction of the collapsed bridge saying this will safe us from threat of flood.

“With the ongoing fixing of the bridge we can now sleep with our two eyes closed irrespective of the level of downpour during this raining season”, he said.
