The Honrable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, State of Osun, Prince Adebayo Adeleke Banik in collaboration with the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, will tomorrow organise a free medical treatments and minor surgery for the people of Iree, Boripe North Local Development Authority.
The event is part of community service of the Resident Doctors in the state to mark the annual week of the association.
The medical outreach will hold at Government Welfare Centrer, Iree by 9 am while all the beneficiary of the free medical intervention are expected to be seated by 8 am tomorrow Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
According to the statement by the planning committee, the one Day Free Medical Outreach will have over 60 medical personnel in different area of specialisations to conduct various medical investigation and administer treatment.
A day Free medical outreach includes, Health Talk, Medical Test, Electro Cardiogram Screening ( ECG), Drugs for treatment of Hypertension, Diabetes, Free Eye Glasses and Examination, Deworming exercise, Anti- malaria treatment
-Hydrocelectomy and Ganglion Surgery (koko Oyan, Koko Ara, Ipake, Ipabo) among other minor surgical operations.
Dignitries expected at the free medical outreach includes the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamontu, Council Chairmen, Traditional, Religion leaders among others.
