SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force has reacted to the murder of a young man reportedly killed by fast-rising Nigerian singer Trevboi.
New Telegraph earlier reported that former signee of Davido, Trevboi was declared wanted after allegedly killing a young man at a nightclub in the Fadeyi area of Lagos State.
However, a friend of the deceased with the Twitter handle @Cloud Target has taken to his handle to reveal that Trevboi shot and killed his friend at Bar 38 club on Sunday, July 16th.
He further called on the Police for the arrest of the singer they claimed had anger issues and walk about armed with a gun.
In a new development, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has reacted to the murder case, disclosing that the police started investigating the issue a few minutes after the incident.
He added that in the cause of his arrest, it was discovered that the suspect, Trevboi, abandoned his car and fled on foot.
“We commenced investigation minutes after the incident happened. The suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot. The car and the documents in it are in our custody.’
“Investigation is ongoing.”
