As part of its social responsibility, the 2025 Ramadan Lecture of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, OSBC Chapel holds on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Pen Resource Centre, Ile Awiye, Oke Baale, Osogbo, with the topic; *Between Democracy, Good Governance and Humanity: The Islamic Perspective*, to be delivered by a renown Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Muhideen Solahudeen Ajibike.
A statement by the Chapel’s Chairman, Comrade Lateef Agboola, says the event will be chaired by the Secretary to Osun State Government, Alhaji (Chief) Teslim Igbalaye; with an Osogbo based Motor Dealer, Alhaji Akeem Afolabi, as the Father of the day and Mrs Fatima Oloruntoyin Shuaib-Gambari as the Mother of the day; while the President, Osun State Muslim Community, Engr Dr Mustafa Olawuyi, is the Spiritual Father of the day, with the Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, Oba Hameed Adekunle Oyelude Makama CON Tegbosun the Third, as the Royal Host and the Olororuwo of Ororuwo, Oba Qamardeen Adeyemi Adeyanju Alawode IV as the Royal Father of the day.
According to the statement, the special Guests of Honour include the APC National Secretary, Dr Surajudeen Ajibola Bashiru; Former Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Najeem Salaam; the Asiwaju of Ikirunland, Retired DIG Gazali ‘Dewale Lawal; the Asiwaju and Aare Musulumi of Ilobu, Chief Abdulazeez Kolade and the Arowosadiini of Offaland, Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammad-Saheed Omokehinde Akofe Olohunlalaaro, among others.
