The National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. (Mrs) Mary Alile, has told Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State to begin preparing to vacate the Government House ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

The APC National Woman Leader, during her recent tour to Osun State, disclosed this in Ede over the weekend, urged party members to send a strong message to the current administration that their time is up.

Dr. (Mrs) Alile said that the APC will emerge victorious in the August 2026 gubernatorial election.

According to her, there is an elephant in the room and that elephant needs to be moved out of the Government House because in 2026 whether they like it or they don’t like it, APC is taking over.

“We must move to the center. And in order for us to move to the center, we must send a strong message to the man that is sitting in government house and tell him that the red card for him to get out of Government House has been issued.

“So, therefore he needs to pack his bag and go because come 2026 when the election proper will start we want an APC governor,” she added.

Speaking, Brigadier-Gen. rtd Bashir Adewinbi commended the APC National Woman Leader, Dr. Mary Alile, for visiting the state to boost the party’s electoral prospects.

Adewinbi stated that Dr. Alile visited Osun State to launch an office for a nonprofit organization in Osogbo, serving the South West with a focus on humanitarian services, including empowerment programs for youth, students, and women.

“That is why I deem it fit host her to appreciate her for coming to Osun state to do something good to our people that can enhance our electoral value and success in future elections.

“There must be unity, there must be unity among all our leaders. We must follow our leader, and that’s what differentiate us from PDP, They don’t have leader, that is why they can never settle down.

“But, we have a leader in this country, and that is President Bola Tinubu we should listen to him and do whatever he wants us to do we should stand by his mandate.
