Progressive Youths Back Benedict Alabi for 2026 Osun Governorship Election

A group of progressive youths, has thrown its weight behind Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun State in his potential bid for the 2026 Osun governorship election.

The group, comprising grassroots comrades from across the state, pledged their loyalty and commitment to Alabi’s political cause during a solidarity visit.

Alabi on Sunday warmly received a delegation of Progressive Youths and Comrades from across Osun State, who have proudly identified themselves as the “BOA Ambassadors” in his residence in Osogbo.

The BOA Ambassadors are a vibrant coalition of grassroots comrades who have voluntarily resolved to unite their efforts to promote, project, and propagate the inspiring political ideals of Benedict Olugboyega Alabi. Their formation signals a strong belief in BOA’s visionary leadership and his capacity to drive progressive governance in Osun State.

During the solidarity visit, the group accompanied by their surveillance and strategic mobilization team openly pledged their unwavering loyalty and expressed their deep commitment to Alabi’s political cause. They emphasized their readiness to work tirelessly towards the realization of BOA’s political aspirations, especially as the All Progressives Congress (APC) intensifies consultations ahead of the 2026 Osun Governorship Election.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the team highlighted that their people across various communities are not only aligned with BOA’s vision but are also eager and prepared to move forward under his leadership. They assured him that the message of hope and renewed progress he represents is already resonating powerfully at the grassroots level.

In his heartfelt response, Benedict Olugboyega Alabi expressed profound gratitude for their visit, describing their commitment, loyalty, and grassroots mobilization efforts as highly inspiring.

He noted that their readiness to work for the advancement of the state fills him with renewed strength and determination to continue championing the cause of good governance.

BOA, a symbol of humility, capacity, and progressive leadership, affirmed that with the collective zeal and dedication of the BOA Ambassadors and other well-meaning citizens, the future of Osun State remains bright and full of endless possibilities. He urged them to remain steadfast and united as the journey towards a greater Osun continues.
