The immediate past Chairman of the Osun state Universal basis education Board (SUBEB), Prince Felix Awofisayo has commiserate with the Ataoja and the people of Osogbo on the death of their illustrious son and famous politician, Senator Bayo Salami.
Prince Awofisayo who also expressed deep regret at death of the sincere progressive politician pray for the repose of his soul and that God should grant him Aljanat fridaous.
Prince Awofisayo who is also the South West Coordinator of Buhari Support Organisation(BSO) and a staunch leader of South West Agenda(SWAGA) described the late Senator as a dependable ally and grassroots politician who was able to proof his mettle by contributing immensely to the growth of progressive politics and good governance in Osun state and Nigeria at large.
According to him, Late Salami’s contributions as local government chairman and Senator of the Republic can not be over emphasized and would be eternally remembered for it.
The former SUBEB boss would be well remembered for being the only Senator that stood through thick and thin with the progressive politicians amongst his colleagues who were elected on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) till his death.
He wished his immediate, extended and political family to have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and pray God to stop such loss.
