The Authority of Osun State Universal Basic Education Board has called upon the general public, especially prospective candidates seeking for teaching job to disregard the fake news calling for the collection of teaching recruitment application forms.
In a press statement by the Executive secretary of SUBEB, Mr Adeoye Bakare and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Thursday, urging the public to disregard the information.
The fake news which was tagged “Osun State SUBEB recruitment 2022/2023 is Out,” going viral on social media is absolutely fake information and that general public, as well as teaching job seekers are seriously warned against collecting such application form from the dubious perpetrators and that it should be disregarded.
He said Osun SUBEB has no knowledge about any ongoing recruitment saying that it is a scam.
While warning the public prospective applicant to be wary of such information, hinted that no body should apply or collect any form through the fake means currently going on the social media.
The Osun SUBEB authority will also like to draw your attention to the inscription used on the logo placed on the fake news that it does not belong to Osun SUBEB but rather to Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC).
Osun SUBEB therefore enjoined the general public or any teaching propective job seeker candidate to shun and disregard the fake news while imploring them to make enquiry of whatever information needed by them through Osun SUBEB Headquarters, Osogbo.
