The Deputy National Chairman South, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Taofeek Arapaja has boasted that a thousand of Teslim Folarin, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), is no match for Governor Seyi Makinde.
Makinde is seeking reelection as Oyo State governor in the forthcoming election.
Arapaja responded to Folarin’s comment who said “Arapaja is under pressure” in a press release signed by his personal assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
The envoy lashed out that Folarin should face the facts and defend the allegation against him, and deny which of them is false.
In the interview recently, Arapaja alleged that Folarin never had any senatorial office in any of the local governments under his purview.
Arapaja said, “Beside every job opportunities and contracts given to him (Folarin) for the benefits of his people were not made available to them, those dividends were sold to bidders. Between Arapaja and Folarin, who is under pressure? The dirty secrets of Folarin have been blown open, everyone in Oyo state understands him for who he is.
“The name Folarin is synonymous with “Jagbaism” rather than to tow a righteous path, he is busy selling mischievous trap (Pakute) to undermine his co-contestants and to wriggle himself in through the backdoor.
“Can you compare a performing governor to a sly and treacherous senator? The day of reckoning remains five days.
Folarin will soon smell his own ass,” he concluded.
