Golfing legend Tiger Woods has 82 PGA Tour wins, including 15 major championships. Numerous golf experts have called him “the greatest closer in history”. Woods has the lowest career scoring average and most career earnings in PGA Tour history.

Woods also reached a great career milestone. His 300th PGA Tour start and 2013 Players Championship win showed his consistency. Woods also won his 100th and 200th tour starts in 2000 and 2006.

Tiger Woods became one of the few athletes to do so in 2022 when Forbes named him a billionaire. But as of 2023, questions about his financial condition have surfaced, calling into question his claim to be a billionaire.

Woods has earned an estimated $1.8 billion during his professional golf career, and he rose to prominence for his lucrative endorsement deals with TaylorMade, Nike, and many others and his on-course prowess.
However, he may have seen his net worth affected by personal difficulties, such as a near-fatal accident in 2021. The golfer’s life hasn’t been the same since that unfateful evening in 2021.

How much money does Tiger Woods earn in 2023?
Tiger Woods is one of the most celebrated athletes in history. The records he has claimed are just as stellar as his skills. Owing to all his victories, sponsorships, and endorsements, the golfer has become one of the richest athletes on the planet.

His career earnings from legitimate tournaments are estimated to be a whopping $120,954,766, and he has also earned an extra $13,165,791 from unofficial tournaments.

Notably, Woods’ participation in the Player Index Programme significantly increased his total earnings by $23,000,000, resulting in remarkable total career earnings of $157,270,557.

Although Woods’ earnings in 2023 from tournaments have not been that substantial because he has not been participating, the golfer is getting hefty paychecks from his sponsors. The golfer is also engaging in business ventures as the introduction of highly innovative TGL. Tiger Woods is Nike-sponsored, and earnings increased in 2022, reaching $15,043,500, helped by a hefty $15 million bonus from the Tour Championship.

Additionally, with an $8 million prize from the Player Impact Programme and the Comcast Business Tour Top 10, Woods earned $8,064,200 in 2021.

The golfer withdrew from Augusta this year because of the unbearable pain he had in his ankle. He later underwent surgery to help with his pain. The golfer has not participated in any PGA Tour events since then, and he even sat out of the other 3 major golf tournaments.
