The Planning Committee of the Platinum Birthday celebrations of His Royal Majesty OBA DR MUNIRUDEEN ADESOLA LAWAL LAMINISA 1, TIMI OF EDELAND has called on all sons and daughters of Ede across the globe to join in the celebration of the 70th birthday of the highly revered monarch.
This call was contained in a statement released on Wednesday by Chairman of the Publicity team of the Planning Committee, Chief Dr Ayodele Adeyemo.
He explained that the platinum birthday will be a five day program which will kickstart on Friday February 7 and peak on Saturday February 15, 2025.
Chief Adeyemo noted that for all the monumental developments achieved under the leadership of Oba Munirudeen, it is important for all sons and daughters of Ede to join friends and family of Baba Timi in celebrating his platinum birthday.
He also called on captains of industries, business mongers, academic to join the monarch 70th birthday grand finale slated for February 15.
His statement reads in part ” I want to use this medium to call on all sons and daughters of Ede across the globe to join us in the celebration of 70th birthday of our baba, Oba Dr Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1, Timi of Edeland.
“I am all calling on captains of industries, business moguls, academics and others from all walks of life to join the platinum birthday celebration slated for February 15.
“It is imperative for us as Ede citizens and inhabitants to appreciate the leadership of Oba Munirudeen for the monumental developments that our dear town has recorded under his watch. We pray for more.
“The 70th birthday of our Royal Father will involve a five-day program of activities that will start on Friday February 7. The programs include: Press Conference on Friday, Inter-faith prayer on Wednesday, Health Day/Orphanage Visitation on Thursday, Chieftaincy Awards on Friday 14 February and the Grand Finale on Saturday February 15.”
