Arsenal have been offered the opportunity to sign Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad amid the ongoing January transfer window.
According to MailOnline, Benzema was offered to the Premier League North London club earlier this month.
However, the Gunners are weighing up whether to sign a ‘versatile defender’ before the transfer deadline next Wednesday.
Benzema is keen to leave Al-Ittihad after spending less than a year in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Real Madrid captain has been offered to several clubs across Europe, including Arsenal.
Arsenal are keen to sign a new striker this month.
However, their ability to sign their ideal candidate this month has been restricted due to Financial Fair Play concerns.
