Villarreal forward, Nicolas Jackson, is currently in London and will have his Chelsea medical on Sunday, as reported by Sky Sports on Saturday.
Chelsea are close to a final agreement with Villarreal over the signing of Jackson this summer transfer window.
Villarreal wanted the €35million release clause paid in full for Jackson’s signature.
However, Chelsea will pay slightly more than the clause in exchange for more favourable payment terms.
The report added that personal terms on a long-term contract have been agreed in principle between Chelsea and Jackson.
New Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly identified the 22-year-old attacker as a potential solution to the club’s striking issues.
