Ahead of the 2023 general elections, groups and youths in Sokoto have continued to organise road walks and rallies in support of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The latest of such activities is the Association of Tricycle Riders and Mabera Youth rally in support of Ahmad Aliyu, the APC governorship candidate in the state.

Addressing the groups, Aliyu appreciated them for their show of love and dedication to the success of APC in the state.

The APC governorship candidate assured the groups of his resolve and pledged to ensure inclusive government, if given the chance to lead the state.

“The commitment and support we are receiving from the good people of Sokoto is an indication of our party’s success in the 2023 general elections.

“Therefore, I call on all of you to sustain your dedication towards ensuring the victory of all APC candidates in Sokoto state and the country in general,” he said.

Also, Senator Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North), the APC leader in the state, thanked the groups for their support to the party.

Wamakko called on them to safeguard their Permanent Voter Cards, while appealing for their support for all APC candidates.

Earlier, the leaders of the Tricycle Association and that of youth groups, Sa’adu Asadda and Kabiru Mabera, said the rally was in solidarity to APC.

The duo assured of their members commitment to mobilise more electorate towards the success of the party in the state.
